About Plumbers Aberdare
Plumbers Aberdare is the local plumbing service for Aberdare and the nearby Hunter suburbs, covering everything from burst pipes to full hot water replacements. This page explains how we work and why the way this suburb was built shapes the way we fix it.
No shopfront story, no invented history. Just licensed plumbers, a clear way of working and a standard we hold every job to.
How we work
Every job follows the same four beats:
- 1
Call and tell us
Ring (02) 4063 3413 and tell us what's going on. We'll ask a few quick questions so the right gear is on the truck the first time.
- 2
Quote before work
You get the price before anything starts. No call-out fee, no hourly surprises. You approve the quote or we shake hands and leave, no charge.
- 3
The work itself
Repairs, clears or installs, done by licensed plumbers and tidied up before we go.
- 4
Backed, no questions asked
If something isn't up to standard afterwards, we come back and make it right, no questions asked. That's the standard every job here is held to.
Same-day attendance is available where the schedule allows. Ring early and we'll do our best to fit you in.
Why the housing here changes the job
Aberdare is small, about 3.3 square kilometres, and at the last census it held roughly 2,500 people across 990 dwellings, nearly all detached houses. What that number hides is the age spread.
- Miners' cottages from the original subdivision, some still carrying galvanised supply lines rusting shut from the inside
- Weatherboard and fibro homes through the middle decades, with tanks tucked alongside that often predate the renovations around them
- Later brick veneer infill, usually on the same street as the cottages
What we're built around
Four things shape every booking:
$0 call out
A quote first, always
Licensed plumbers
The make-it-right guarantee
If a job falls outside what we do well, we'll say so rather than take the booking.

Talk to us
A dripping tap or a tank that's given up on a frosty morning, the process is the same either way. Call (02) 4063 3413 and describe what's happening.
